    Ketti

    Hill resort Ketti is a small village from the Nilgiri hills in the Tamil Nadu, renowned for the tea plantation and tribal life of tribes such as Todas and Badagas.     Ooty

    Ootacamund, also called Udhaga-mandalam is nicknamed the queen of the hill stations of South India, is crowning the Nilgiri's at an altitude of 2240 metres. Ooty is known for its extraordinary scenic beauty and salubrious climate round the year. Green Udhagamandalam better known as Ooty is the most popular hill station in the South.

    Valparai

    Valparai is located 3,500 feet above sea level on the Anaimalai Hills range of the Western Ghats. Though popularly known as Cherrapunji of South India, Valparai remains somewhat untouched. Owned mostly by private tea companies, a large part of the area is out of bounds for tourists.Interestingly, the Govt. of Tamil Nadu with the assistance of the Govt. of India has taken initiatives to promote tourism and develop infrastructure such as hotels, amusement parks etc to attract visitors.

    Yelagiri

    Yercaud

    Unlike other popular summer resorts of Tamilnadu, Yercaud is a hidden treasure in the southern peninsula. Perfect for a calm and solitary holiday, Yercaud is bedecked with numerous natural charms which are unmatched in their respective sense.

    Tenkasi

    Tenkasi is a big town in Thirunelveli District of TamilNadu. It situated near the foothills of the Western Ghats. The famous Water Falls Coutrallam gains much popularity to the town. Tenkasi is noted for its Ulagamman Temple and its Shiva Temple. The Ulagamman temple was built by Parakrama Pandian, but was shattered by lightning. Sivanthi Adithan and others re-instated it. Now it was repainted by the same for new look.

    Topslip

    The 958 Sq.km 'Top Slip' is one of the ever green location in southern India. It's part 'Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary (IGWS)' and 'Indira Gandhi National Park (IGNP)' which is located in Western Ghats. The area around this panoramic mountain is called 'Anamalai' or 'Elephant Hills'.

    Coonoor

    The exquisite hill station of Coonoor lies in the wraps of the Nilgiri Hills. In fact Coonoor is located at an altitude of 1800 m. This is probably the best hill station in the state for trekking.

    Kotagiri

    In the serene setting of the Nilgiri Hills and just an hour's drive from Ooty, Kotagiri is a small town set among the lush tea estates. Retaining the essence of hill magic and charm, the resort offers year round sylvan charm.

    Velliangiri Hills

    This is not only a hill station, this is more of a pilgrimage destination. Of all the mountain shrines in Kongunadu, the Siva temple of Velliangiri in the western boundary is considered to be the most famous. Known as Rajathagiri, Velliangiri, Dakshin Kailash or Bhoolok Kailash, this sacred spot, according to legend, is where Siva performed his cosmic dance on the request of his consort Umadevi.

    Kolli Hills

    Kolli Hills or Kolli Malai is a small mountain range located in central Tamil Nadu in India. The mountains are about 1000 to 1300 m in height and cover an area of approximately 280 kmē. The Kolli Hills has 70 hair pin bends to reach the top of the hills. The Kolli Hills are part of the Eastern Ghats, which is a mountain range that runs mostly parallel to the east coast of South India. The mountains are relatively untouched by commercial tourism and still retain their natural beauty.

    Pachimalai Hills

    Pachimalai Hills are a part of the Eastern Ghats in the southern state of India,Tamil Nadu. The hills are spread over the districts of Tiruchirapalli, Salem and Perambalur. Pachai in Tamil means green and the Pachimalai hills is greener than the some of the hills located nearby. The rivers flowing through the hills are Kallar and Sweata Nadi. The Veeraramar Dam is located in the hills across the Kallar River. The waterfalls in the hills include Mangalam Aruvi, Koraiyar Falls and Mayil Uthu Falls. The most cultivated fruit in the hills is jackfruit.

    Megamalai

    Megamalai is located on the slopes of the Western Ghats, amidst the lush green Tea plantations and Cardamom estates. It is popularly called 'High Wavy Mountains'. It is a cool and misty mountain range and lies at a distance of 130 km from Madurai. A perfect place for nature lovers, its altitude is 1,500 m above sea level. The vegetation of the Meghamalai hills includes scrub forests at the foothills, stretches of tea and coffee estates, spice plantations of pepper, cardamom, cinnamon and the dense evergreen forest cover.

    Sirumalai

    Sirumalai is a small hill station 20 Km away from Dindigul on the Natham Road. The place has a lot of birds and animals and the youngsters can go for trekking and mountaineering here. The hills can be reached from Madurai also. The farming methods are completely organic here on these hills. The place is cheap and convenient compared to other hill stations. It is 1,200 metres high and spreads over 60,000 acres.

    The place is mentioned in the ancient Ayurvedic books as a place abundant with many medicinal plants. The Siddha form of healing has been developed on these hills by the sages a thousand years back. The hill has a cool climate.
